Driving the strip after dark can be quite a challenge, so you may wish to consider one of these alternate modes of transportation.
Las Vegas Strip Trolley
702-382-1404 This trolley runs every day from 9:30 AM – 2:00 AM about every fifteen minutes. Pick it up at the Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, New York-New York, Jockey Club, Caesars, Tropicana, MGM, Bally’s, Imperial Palace, Harrah’s, Fashion Show Mall, Desert Inn, Stardust, Stratosphere, Sahara, Hilton, or Riviera. Exact change required.
Bus
702-228-7433 Citizen Area Transit (CAT) provides service to the strip daily, most areas being serviced from 5:30 AM – 1:30 AM. Stops at nearly every hotel on the strip and several spots downtown. Exact change required.
Taxi
Nearly a dozen companies service the Strip. Limit 5 passengers. Note: A green light blinking means the driver is “in distress.” The public is asked to notify 911 immediately.
Limousines
A dozen or so companies service Las Vegas and arrangements can be made through your hotel.
Hotel Monorails
Grab one of the many free magazines of Las Vegas and pull out the map depicting the Strip. You’ll see the monorails, some of which are located in front and some behind the resorts. You can hop a monorail from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur, from La Quinta to Bellagio, and MGM to Bally’s. Free.
