Pack a picnic and strap on your rollerblades, then head to the Valencia paseos. When you’re ready for a break, either settle in with your picnic or stop at one of the many ice cream stores or coffee shops in the city.

No, don’t tell her to go fly a kite! Pick up some kites and head to the park…then
let ‘em rip!
Dance in the Moonlight
Head to a remote area or the local park, turn up the car radio and dance under the stars.
Dinner under the Stars
City parks don’t close until 10:00 pm, so why not create your own ‘restaurant under the stars?’ Pack a card table and chairs, tablecloth, music, camp light and picnic from Whole Foods. Dinner alfresco!
Find the Constellations
On a starry night with some reading pillows, a blanket, a constellation book, and a book light, find a dark place to watch the stars and find the constellations.
Cuddle on the Patio
Grab the electric blanket, turn on some soft music and cuddle in the hammock or chaise lounge. If you don’t have an electric blanket, warm your blankets in the dryer—alternating two to always have a warm one on hand.
Watch an Outdoor Movie
Bring a soft mattress and blankets and drive to a park or remote location. Play one of your favorite romantic movies on your laptop or DVD player. If you have a pickup truck, even better! And don’t forget the warm blankets.
