Colonial Williamsburg

Busch GardensIf you’ve been bored with history and the facts of our country’s earliest beginnings are fuzzy to you, then it’s time for a trip to Virginia’s Historic Triangle. History literally comes alive as you interact with colonial characters—the famous and the ordinary. Ask them questions about their lives, try your hand at their daily chores, taste their food and sleep in their beds. You’ll leave the area with a sense of pride for our country and appreciation for these courageous folks.
A word of advice: Make reservations for lodging, dining and other activities prior to arrival to avoid disappointment.
To fully accomplish everything described in this history tour, you will need a minimum of six days, without much time for rest. Plantation tours, recreational activities, and plain old down time are not included in this estimate.
Here’s a guide to help you plan your visit:

Yorktown – Half to one full day
Colonial Williamsburg – Two days

Area Attractions – One full day
If you only have two days, spend one at Colonial Williamsburg and one at Busch Gardens.
