Breakfast & Brunch Restaurants
in Valencia and the Santa Clarita Valley

bar

NOTE: Try as we might, we've not had the pleasure at dining at each of these restaurants. Our notes are intended to be of assistance to someone new to the SCV. An absence of notations is either due to unfamiliarity or the listing is a popular chain requiring no introduction.

Egg Plantation
24415 Walnut Street, Newhall
661-255-8222 MAP IT!
A locals' favorite; first opened in the 1970s. Everything is homemade. Eggs Benedict, crepes, omelets. Expect a long wait on weekend mornings and holidays. Only open until 2:00 pm.

Eggs N Things
27560 N. Newhall Ranch Road, Valencia
661-702-8664 MAP IT!
A Southern California chain restaurant.

Half Way House
15564 W. Sierra Highway, Saugus
661-251-0102 MAP IT!
A locals' favorite; first opened in 1931. This location shows up often in commercials, film, and television programs.

IHOP
18677 Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country
661-250-1860 MAP IT!

IHOP
26135 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus
661-253-2696 MAP IT!

IHOP
24737 W. Pico Canyon Road, Stevenson Ranch
661-254-1537 MAP IT!

Marstons Restaurant
Marstons Restaurant
24011 Newhall Ranch Road, Santa Clarita (Valencia)
661-253-9910 MAP IT!
Marstons is a locally owned and operated breakfast, lunch, dinner restaurant that started in Pasadena 25 years ago. Some of the breakfast favorites include pulled pork eggs benedict, omelets & cornflake french toast. We also offer a value priced happy hour and unique dinner selections. Open Tues.-Sun.

Mimi's Cafe
24201 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia
661-255-5520 MAP IT!
Even though this is a national chain, the locals love it, too. Decorated in a French-cottage theme offering Eggs Benedict, crepes, pancakes, stuffed French toast.

Saugus Cafe
25861 Railroad Avenue, Saugus
661-259-7886 MAP IT!
Another locals' favorite, first opened in 1886. (That's right, over 100 years ago!) But it was also in a different location. Read more here.

Thelma's Cafe
22876 Copperhill Drive, Santa Clarita (Saugus)
661-263-8283 MAP IT!
Relatively new in SCV, the Chef/Owner cooked under Wolfgang Puck for more than 23 years. If you enjoy exceptional food (the type that may be served in the finest restaurants, but half the cost you'd pay there), this is the place for you. Everything is cooked from scratch. Don't let the strip mall location fool you.

Way Station Coffee Shop
24377 Main Street, Newhall
661-255-0222 MAP IT!
Another locals' favorite; not sure how long it's been around, but probably since the 50's. Nostalgic diner atmosphere, known for their breakfast. (Be sure to try the hash browns.) Expect a long wait whenever you go.
