VIA

Neighborhood Watch Organizations
in the Santa Clarita Valley

HOW TO FORM A
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH GROUP

The Neighborhood Watch Program is a working network of concerned and proactive citizens throughout the Valley. Meetings are conducted in neighborhoods to establish an effective crime prevention plan. Each neighborhood in the program has developed relationships both within themselves and with Law Enforcement to protect themselves against crime.

Contact the Crime Prevention Unit of the SCV Sheriff's Station at 661-255-1121.

DOES YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP NEED A WEB PAGE?
The technology of the Internet can create a virtual meeting place for Neighborhood Watch Leaders to communicate with their group. Email addresses of the neighborhood members may be collected and used to send out time sensitive information. However, care must be taken to protect the privacy of the neighbors, and these lists should absolutely not be used for any purpose other than for Neighborhood Watch alerts.

Check first with the members of your Neighborhood Watch Group for a volunteer to contribute the time preparing a designated web page for your group. If you are unable to secure a volunteer, contact Santa Clarita Guide at:
info@SantaClaritaGuide.com

Please understand that while Santa Clarita Guide will do their best to accommodate your request for a web page, we cannot send out emails to your group members.
