�Hurricane Harbor�s newest attraction, the six-story funnel of fun that drops riders from 75 feet in the air, banking back and forth down a 132-foot-long tunnel of wild and wet excitement. Riders will navigate the 5,000 gallons of water on specially designed, 4-person cloverleaf shaped rafts before toppling into a pool below.

�at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center. Three pools, including an activity pool with slides and fun equipment for the kiddies, is a great way to cool off on hot summer days. This $9 million facility opened in 2003 and provides locker and changing rooms and lots of deck space to relax and soak up the rays. Check the Seasons brochure for open swim times.

Need a ride to the Aquatics Center?
Santa Clarita Transit's Routes 5 and 6 service the Aquatics Center. Other routes may connect through the McBean transfer station. The service is offered beginning at 8:00 a.m. every half hour, seven days a week.


Swim in a Lake
You can swim in Castaic Lake Memorial Day through Labor Day. Check website for exact hours.

Castaic Lake Junior Lifeguard Program
In June and July, kids 9-17 learn water safety physical fitness as well as what it takes to be a lifeguard. They'll learn CPR and first aid. Kids 15-17 may earn a Lifeguard Certificate that may lead to future employment.


Cool Off With a Splash in Santa Clarita Valley Community Pools
Swim lessons, workouts, team sports and safety classes are all available at your local community pools this summer. But what if you just feel like going for a dip in the pool or taking the kids for a lazy afternoon? We�ve listed the pools and their features below. The list below does not include private neighborhood pools that may be available in your tract.

Dive-in Movie Night???
You�ve heard of �dinner and a movie� and now there is �swimming and a movie!� The City of Santa Clarita offers this special evening periodically during the summer, located at one of the city pools. Watch the show while floating in the pool or lounging on the deck.
