Several summer concert series are offered throughout the Santa Clarita Valley including the Jazz Concerts Friday evenings in Town Center, Valencia Marketplace Summer Sunset Concerts Friday evenings, the Concerts in the Park on Saturday evenings, Westfield Valencia Town Center Concerts on Tuesday evenings, or Concerts on the Hillside periodic Sunday evenings at Grace Baptist Church. The ones in the sky, that is. Periodic Saturday evenings the local astronomy club will have telescopes set up in Vasquez Rocks. Free. Check their web site for dates, details and for other star parties.

Six Flags Magic Mountain, in the interest of the local community and the high brush fire conditions in the Santa Clarita Valley, will no longer be implementing summer fireworks.

Six Flags regrets ending the summer fireworks tradition and asks guests and neighbors to understand and support the decision.
