What To Do in Santa Clarita

Santa Clarita Valley Clubs

New to town and want to hang out with like-minded folks?
You've come to the right place. Meet new friends in similar life situations.

They're eager for you to join them!

Artists
661-222-7328
Calling all artists! The Santa Clarita Artists' Association (SCAA) is the only non-profit in the Santa Clarita Valley dedicated to the visual arts. The club offers art enrichment classes at their small gallery in Newhall. There is nothing more rewarding than watching children discovering the magic of creativity.

Moms' Clubs
Not surprisingly, there are numerous Moms Clubs that meet throughout the valley, and we've listed all that are open to new members. Whether you are new at breastfeeding, are a mom of twins, looking for ways to exercise with your children, or just want to get out and meet other moms, you'll find that info here.

Newcomers and Friends
A wonderful social group open to all women in the SCV who are new to the area or have had a significant change in lifestyle. Email or call Eileen Zeidner at 661-513-9349.

Poets & Lyricists
Meet monthly at the Canyon Country Library every third Wednesday in 2009, 6-7:30 pm. You are welcome to bring a poem or lyrics of your own composition either to read aloud or to “workshop.” If you would like feedback, please bring at least 6 copies to pass around. 661-251-2720

The SCV Arthritis, Lupus & Fibromyalgia Support Group
This newly formed group is for individuals suffering from Arthritis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia and any other auto-immune diseases that meets once a month. This group will be a place to learn from each others experiences and to have a group of peers that actually understand what you are going through because you are not alone. These diseases also affect those close to us, so family members & friends are encouraged to join us. Please contact Jena at jmminassian@yahoo.com or at (661) 312-8913 with any questions or visit the link above for more information.
