Susan began her career in tourism at the 5 Star Walt Disney World’s Dolphin Resort. Working closely with Cypress Gardens theme park in Florida while working for Grenelefe Golf and Tennis Resort, she brought in new business to Haines City, Florida. As the National Corporate Sales Manager for the Savannah DeSoto Hilton Hotel and Director of Sales for the Homewood Suites by Hilton, she worked closely with the local CVB to increase revenue through Familiarization Tours, trade shows, travel agents and group accounts. Finally landing here at the Embassy Suites Valencia, she was responsible for opening the newly constructed hotel, exceeding November’s 2007’s budget by 101%. She was the winner of the 2002 Financial Excellence Award for overall revenue and ADR for Dimension Development Inc. Hotels, and routinely managed up to 25 associates.
